NAFT Federal Credit Union has an awesome program designed just for children ages 12 and younger. Sammy, the Savvy Saver Youth Program is a fun and exciting money management program for children to enjoy while learning.

To join the Sammy Saver Youth Program a share account must be opened with a deposit of $25 and a one time membership fee of $5. A minimum balance of $50 is required however the account holder has 2 months from the date the account is opened to bring the balance to the required amount. A social security number is required to open a share account.

Children will save and learn while taking part in these fun activities just for Sammy members:

Youth members will receive a birthday card from Sammy.

Instant membership in Sammy's Honor Roll Club - students will receive a FREE gift for straight A's.

Invitations to special events and parties throughout the year designed just for Sammy members. (Ex: Credit Union Youth Week, Sammy's Christmas Party)
Once a quarter, on a Saturday morning, Sammy will hold 1-hour learning sessions. At that time, Sammy Savers can make their deposits and earn extra credit for attending. Educational videos and presentations, will then be presented on saving and other items of interest to children.

Will be able to participate in coloring contests tied to a holiday or Credit Union Day.

Best of all, when club members save, they will receive Sammy stamp credits that can be redeemed for prizes like these:

	3 Credits	Pencil set or Pencil Stationery
	6 Credits	Plush toys, Sport Missile Ball, or Figurines
	9 Credits	Crayon Mug, Magic Bank Box
	12 Credits	Commemorative State Quarters
	15 Credits	Cap
	20 Credits	Backpack
	25 Credits	T-Shirt or Stereo headphone radio

Credits will apply only if the child is present!

Help us teach the children a valuable habit. Saving, like many worthwhile habits, should be taught at an early age. Youngsters who begin saving at an early age usually grow up practicing this valuable habit throughout their lives. It's an indispensable part of a child's financial education.
